Sample Contract for Voiceover Artist

This contract (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on the date of acceptance by the Voiceover Artist, and is by and between [Organization Name] (“Producer”), and [Voiceover Artist Name] (“Voiceover Artist”).

1. Engagement:
Producer hereby engages Voiceover Artist to provide voiceover services for the theatre production of [Production Name] (“Production”). Voiceover Artist shall be responsible for recording and providing the voiceover for the Production, including but not limited to voiceovers for trailers and promotional materials.
2. Deliverables:
Voiceover Artist shall be responsible for the following deliverables:
- Attend all recording sessions as scheduled by Producer
- Record and provide the voiceover for the Production, including voiceovers for trailers and promotional materials
- Maintain the confidentiality of all information and materials related to the Production
- Adhere to professional standards of conduct and behavior at all times

Producer shall be responsible for the following deliverables:

- Provide Voiceover Artist with the necessary scripts and any other relevant materials
- Provide Voiceover Artist with a schedule of recording sessions in advance
- Pay Voiceover Artist the agreed upon compensation in a timely manner
1. Timeline:
The term of this Agreement shall commence on [Start Date] and shall continue until [End Date] or completion of the run of the Production, whichever occurs first. Recording sessions shall take place from [Recording Start Date] to [Recording End Date].
2. Compensation:
In consideration for the services to be rendered by Voiceover Artist hereunder, Producer shall pay Voiceover Artist the sum of [Compensation Amount] per recording session. Payment shall be made upon completion of each recording session. Voiceover Artist shall also be entitled to a share of the net profits of the Production, as determined by Producer in its sole discretion.
3. Termination:
This Agreement may be terminated by either party at any time, for any reason, upon written notice to the other party. In the event of termination by Producer, Voiceover Artist shall be entitled to receive compensation for all services rendered up to the date of termination.
4. Confidentiality:
Voiceover Artist shall maintain the confidentiality of all information and materials related to the Production, including but not limited to scripts and production plans. Voiceover Artist shall not disclose any such information to any third party without the prior written consent of Producer.
5. Indemnification:
Voiceover Artist shall indemnify and hold harmless Producer, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, damages, or expenses arising out of or in connection with Voiceover Artist’s performance of services under this Agreement.
6. Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [State].
