Dancer: [Dancer Name]
This contract (“Agreement”) is made and entered into on the date of acceptance by the Dancer, and is by and between [Organization Name] (“Producer”), and [Dancer Name] (“Dancer”).
1. Engagement:
Producer hereby engages Dancer to perform in the theatre production of [Production Name] (“Production”). Dancer shall be responsible for performing the role of [Character Name] in the Production, as well as any other duties as assigned by the choreographer or director.
2. Deliverables:
Dancer shall be responsible for the following deliverables:
- Attend all rehearsals and production meetings as scheduled by Producer
- Perform the role of [Character Name] in the Production to the best of Dancer’s ability
- Maintain the confidentiality of all information and materials related to the Production
- Adhere to professional standards of conduct and behavior at all times
Producer shall be responsible for the following deliverables:
- Provide Dancer with the necessary scripts, production plans, and any other relevant materials
- Provide Dancer with a schedule of rehearsals and production meetings in advance
- Pay Dancer the agreed upon compensation in a timely manner
1. Timeline:
The term of this Agreement shall commence on [Start Date] and shall continue until [End Date] or completion of the run of the Production, whichever occurs first. Rehearsals shall take place from [Rehearsal Start Date] to [Rehearsal End Date]. Performances shall take place from [Performance Start Date] to [Performance End Date].
2. Compensation:
In consideration for the services to be rendered by Dancer hereunder, Producer shall pay Dancer the sum of [Compensation Amount] per week. Payment shall be made on a biweekly basis. Dancer shall also be entitled to a share of the net profits of the Production, as determined by Producer in its sole discretion.
3. Termination:
This Agreement may be terminated by either party at any time, for any reason, upon written notice to the other party. In the event of termination by Producer, Dancer shall be entitled to receive compensation for all services rendered up to the date of termination.
4. Confidentiality:
Dancer shall maintain the confidentiality of all information and materials related to the Production, including but not limited to scripts, production plans, and personnel information. Dancer shall not disclose any such information to any third party without the prior written consent of Producer.
5. Indemnification:
Dancer shall indemnify and hold harmless Producer, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, damages, or expenses arising out of or in connection with Dancer’s performance of services under this Agreement.
6. Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [State].
